US natural gas production in 2015 is expected to reach a record of 79.58 billion cubic feet per day, the fifth consecutive record high in annual production, the Energy Information Administration reported Tuesday (read article Reuters Africa).
US crude production falls for 2nd month in a row
US oil field production slowed for a second straight month in November, dropping 60,000 barrels per day to 9.17 million barrels per day, the Energy Information Administration reports. Nevertheless, the EIA increased its forecast for total 2015 production by 40,000 barrels per day to a total of 9.33 million barrels per day, while revising down the 2016 forecast by 10,000 barrels per day to 8.76 million barrels per day (read article FuelFix).
